Introduction : Class Overview
This class was designed to teach our customers to be comfortable with the usage of radios and other products that we provide at a basic level. In this class, you will learn how radios work, radio features, programming basics and basic service and maintenance on the radios, along with information about other products and services we provide.
Objective
Upon completion of this class, you will know:
• General Two-Way Radio Knowledge & Features
• Radio application in Corrections
• How to troubleshoot common radio system failures at your facility
• Radio Programming
• Basic Service and Maintenance of your Radios
• How to use our repair site portal
• Lockdown Software Training
• The Future of Radios
Itinerary:
Day 1
Dinner - 6:30 p.m. PST
Day 2
Class - 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PST (Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided)
Day 3
Class - 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PST (Breakfast and lunch provided)
Completion of this course will give you certification to program radios at your facility.
